Woodentop Photography was established in 1986 by Gary Woods, following a successful graduation from Trent Polytechnic with a BA (Hons.) in Photography, and then two years working in advertising / audio-visual photography in London.

Initially the photography work undertaken by Woodentop Photography was wedding, portrait photography and specific commissions. More recently the work has moved towards the freelance / commissioned magazine and agency markets.

Another significant change in the last year has been the move away from traditional 35mm and 6x7 formats into digitally recorded images. Combined with advanced Photoshop skills, this has quickly led to the output of Woodentop Photography now being almost entirely digitally produced.

Woodentop Photography also specialises in the packaging of photographs into audio-visual presentations.
